TÜBİTAK–CAS ISCC Project Kick-off Meeting with SIAT

About the Kick-off Meeting

The kick-off meeting for “Integrated Sensing, Communication, and Computation for Connected Autonomous Vehicles” was held on 14 August 2026. Supported under the 2568 TÜBİTAK–Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) Bilateral Cooperation Call, the project brings together researchers from Istanbul Medipol University and the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT).

Programme Highlights

The teams met online to discuss the project road map. The project aims to develop an integrated sensing, communication, and computation (ISCC) framework for connected autonomous vehicles, bringing these functions together under a single architecture.

Its objectives include supporting real-time data exchange, cooperative perception, and distributed decision-making between vehicles and infrastructure, with a focus on reliability, latency, and scalability.

CoSiNC Participation and Contributions

The CoSiNC team met with Prof. Shuai Wang and his SIAT team to discuss the work ahead. The meeting presentation identified Prof. Hüseyin Arslan and Prof. Shuai Wang as the principal investigators. This initial exchange marked the start of the teams’ collaboration on next-generation intelligent transportation networks.
